Celebrating the Artist Room John Brack & Prudence Flint: ALL ANGLES, now on display at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, NGV curators Katharina Prugger and Becket Rozentals discuss the artistic affinities between contemporary Melbourne-based artist Prudence Flint and late Australian art icon John Brack.

Bringing together the work of two acclaimed Melbourne artists, John Brack & Prudence Flint: ALL ANGLES offers a compelling conversation across time, rooted in shared dedication to the human figure, the studio practice, and the complexities of representing women. Focusing on works developed through close observation of models in their studios, the display spans paintings and works on paper that reflect each artist’s sustained engagement with the figure.
